Anna heard a terrifying sound coming from the staircase.
Then she saw two-year-old Leo tumbling toward the bottom.
She dropped everything and ran, catching him just before he reached the hard floor. Leo immediately wrapped his tiny arms around her neck, crying.
Anna looked up.
Vanessa was standing at the top of the stairs.
“You pushed him!”
“He slipped!” Vanessa insisted.
But the confrontation was only beginning. When Richard arrived, Vanessa tried to turn the entire story against Anna.
Then little Leo lifted his trembling hand… and pointed toward the security camera.
