In one, Lily said, "Vanessa scares me."

Grace stared at it. "He erased her words."
Mercer admitted taking money tied to Vanessa. Kyle and Martin also agreed to cooperate.
That night Lily pulled another tiny recorder from beneath her pillow.
Daniel froze. "Another one?"
Grace frowned. "I only gave you one."
Two letters were scratched into the back.

Daniel knew them.
