My 2-Year-Old Daughter Was Pulled From the Bottom of Our Swimming Pool—While My Stepmother Stood There Smiling. Then I Discovered What She Really Wanted. 😱💔
I heard the splash. Then my little girl's screaming stopped.
"ROSIE!"
I ran barefoot into the backyard and saw our maid, Elena, pulling my two-year-old daughter from the deep end of the pool.
Rosie was pale, shivering, and barely responding.
"Please, baby. Open your eyes!" I cried.
Then she coughed and started crying.
I thought nothing could be more terrifying—until I looked up.
My stepmother, Beatrice, was standing beside the open pool gate, smiling.
"Why was the gate unlocked?" I demanded.
She shrugged. "Maybe you should learn to watch your own child."
Then she leaned close and whispered something that made my blood run cold.
"Your father left a $50 million trust. All I need is one judge to believe you're an unfit mother."
I froze.
She wasn't just threatening me. She was planning to take my daughter and everything my father had left behind.
But as the ambulance arrived, I spotted a strange red ribbon caught in the pool gate.
And then the security camera suddenly switched off.
