She Thought the Nanny Would Take the Blame—Then the Nursery Camera Started Playing

part 2 ; https://legacy.treeiq.biz/blog/she-thought-the-nanny-would-take-the-blame-then-the-nursery-camera-started-playing

My billionaire boss came home early and found his baby screaming beside a hot iron.

Before I could explain anything, his wife pointed straight at me.

“She did it!”

I was still holding little Noah against my chest.

My cheek was burning from the slap she had given me minutes earlier.

My boss looked at me like he didn’t recognize the woman he had trusted for four years.

“Rachel… tell me that isn’t true.”

I didn’t beg.

I didn’t argue.

I simply looked above the nursery door and said four words:

“Check the nursery camera.”

Vanessa stopped crying.

My boss pulled out his phone.

He rewound the footage.

But what appeared on the screen was far worse than either of us expected.

Twenty minutes earlier, Vanessa had been standing over Noah’s crib, talking to a man on speakerphone.

Then we heard her say:

“Once the baby is out of the way, everything belongs to me.”

My boss went completely still.

Because he recognized the man’s voice on the other end.

So did I.

It belonged to his attorney.

The same attorney who had rewritten his will after his first wife died in a mysterious fall.
