"Gloria slapped six-year-old Elliot over a cupcake.
“Those are for important guests.”
Valentina immediately pulled her Son against her.
“Mom… the waitress said I could have one.”
Then Nathan approached.
“It’s my sister’s wedding. Don’t make this ugly.”
Valentina went completely still.
But Elliot whispered:
“Grandma says we’re guests because Aunt owns this place now.”
Valentina slowly turned.
“Owns it?”
A Bodyguard retrieved the venue folder.
Inside—
was the original property deed.
The ballroom wasn’t merely rented by Valentina.
She owned the entire estate.
Then another document slipped out.
A transfer agreement had been prepared—
giving Nathan’s sister fifty percent ownership as a “wedding gift.”
Valentina’s signature was already there.
Forged.
And Gloria had signed as witness.
Silence.
Nathan went pale.
“You let your Mother slap my Son…”
Valentina held up the forged deed.
“…at a wedding you were using to steal his Mother’s property.”
Then she found the closing date.
Tomorrow morning.
Valentina dropped the genuine deed onto Gloria’s lap.
“You slapped my Son at a wedding I paid for.”
She pointed toward the doors.
“And tried stealing the venue before the flowers came down.”
